The Bobcats have not been pleased with their backup guards so that’s why they have signed mighty mite Earl Boykins. Boykins played in his first game for the Bobcats last night and he played 23 minutes, scored 5 points and dished out 3 assists. He did only shoot 2 for 11 from the floor. Boykins played in 66 games (23 starts) last season for the Bucks and Nuggets and he averaged 30.8 minutes, 14.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists. Prior to last night, Boykins had played in 484 games (33 starts) in his NBA career. He has career averages of 21.3 minutes, 9.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. This was a good move for the Bobcats.
