The Bobcats took all of their frustrations out on the Celtics last night.  The Bobcats out-rebounded them 48-29 and they outscored them 51-28 in the second half to put them away for good.  Gerald Henderson led the way for the Bobcats with 35 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 blocked shot.  Ben Gordon was rock solid off the bench with 17 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 27 minutes in this game.  Josh McRoberts (13 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal) and Kemba Walker (10 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals) also pitched in for the Bobcats last night.  The Bobcats improve to 14-50 on the year.

Washington Wizards 104, Charlotte Bobcats 87

The Bobcats got torched again last night, this time by the Wizards in Washington.  The Bobcats were out-rebounded 45-32 last night and the Wizards shot 50% from the floor, which explains the numbers on the scoreboard.  Kemba Walker led the way for the Bobcats with 29 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.  Gerald Henderson also had a rock solid game with 17 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.  Ben Gordon (13 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in 25 minutes) and Brendan Haywood (10 points and 7 rebounds in 29 minutes) also pitched in for the Bobcats last night.  The Bobcats have fallen to 13-50 on the year.

The Bobcats got drilled hard again last night by the visiting Thunder.  The Bobcats were down 90-66 after the first three quarters before the Thunder called off the dogs.  Gerald Henderson led the way for the Bobcats last night with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.  Ben Gordon also had a solid game with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 28 minutes off the bench.  Jeff Adrien (12 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot in 16 minutes) and Kemba Walker (11 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 blocked shot in 31 minutes) also pitched in for the Bobcats last night.  The Bobcats are now 13-49 on the year.

The Charlotte Bobcats lose Ramon Sessions for a while

The Bobcats will be without 26-year old PG/SG Ramon Sessions for the next 2-4 weeks due to a sprained left MCL.  Sessions has played in 61 games (0 starts) for the Bobcats so far this year and he is averaging 27.1 minutes, 14.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.  He is shooting 40.8% from the floor, 30.8% from three point range and 83.9% from the free throw line so far this year.  The Bobcats are likely going to lean on Kemba Walker and Ben Gordon to play more until Sessions is ready to return to action.

26-year old forward Josh McRoberts has helped the Bobcats off the bench lately.  He has played in 6 games (0 starts) for the Bobcats so far this year and he is averaging 18.5 minutes, 5.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.  McRoberts has now played in 47 games (3 starts) overall for the Magic and Bobcats and he is averaging 16.9 minutes, 4.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.  The Bobcats hope that McRoberts keeps up the good work.

The Bobcats were up 53-43 at the half earlier tonight….before the roof caved in on them as they were outscored 56-25 in the second half!  The Bobcats were out-rebounded 49-29 and that really killed them.  Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (17 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals) and Ben Gordon (16 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal in 26 minutes off the bench) led the way for the Bobcats.  Gerald Henderson (11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal) and Kemba Walker (10 points, 2 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot) also pitched in for the Bobcats in this game.  The Bobcats are now 13-48 on the season.

The Bobcats didn’t play any D last night as the Blazers shot 59.8% from the floor, which explains the most recent beating they took.  Ramon Sessisons (18 points, 3 assists and 1 steal in 27 minutes) and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (17 points and 10 rebounds) led the way for the Bobcats last night.  Kemba Walker only shot 5 of 20 from the floor, but he still finished up with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals.  Gerald Henderson (14 points and 3 rebounds) and Ben Gordon (14 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists in 16 minutes) also pitched in for the Bobcats.  The Bobcats fall to 13-47 on the season.

The Bobcats hit rock bottom last night in Sacramento as they were down 97-59 after three quarters before the Kings called off the dogs.  The Bobcats only shot 36.4% from the floor and they were out-rebounded 60-31!  Bryon Mullens (12 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 19 minutes) and Gerald Henderson (12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists) led the way for the Bobcats last night.  Kemba Walker (11 points, 6 assists and 2 steals) and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (10 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot) also pitched in for the Bobcats last night.  The Bobcats are now 13-46 on the year.

The Bobcats only shot 34.6% from the floor and they were out-rebounded 62-24 last night in Utah, which helps explain the numbers on the scoreboard.  Byron Mullens led the way for the Bobcats last night with 12 points and 7 rebounds in 23 minutes on the floor.  Ramon Sessions was also busy with 11 points, 1 assist and 1 steal in only 18 minutes on the court.  Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Kemba Walker and Jeff Adrien pitched in with 8 points apiece in this game.  The Bobcats have fallen to 13-45 on the season.

The rookies of the Charlotte Bobcats are showing solid potential

19-year old small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and 23-year old SG/SF Jeff Taylor have been solid so far in their rookie years for the Bobcats.  Kidd-Gilchrist has played in 54 games (53 starts) for the Bobcats so far this year and he is averaging 25.6 minutes, 9.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 blocked shot per game.  Taylor has played in 56 games (28 starts) for the Bobcats so far this year and he is averaging 21.2 minutes, 6.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game.  Kidd-Gilchrist and Taylor are going to be big parts of the Bobcats’ future.
